We equip electrical laboratory. What to choose for the electrical lab?

For an electrical laboratory to perform high-quality workon monitoring the technical condition of electrical network facilities, it is necessary to equip it with a certain set of instruments for control and diagnostic of various electrical equipment.

SKB EP company manufactures and sells the necessary range of instruments and test equipment for electrotechnical lab configurations. Depending on the complexity of the tests performed by electrotechnical lab, SKB EP offers three instruments’ sets of different functionality: "BASE", "OPTIMA", "PROFI". 11.jpg

The "BASE" set is represented by PKV/M15, MIKO-7M(A), MIKO-10/ MIKO-1 (micro-ohmmeter at the client's choice) instruments.

This kit is a basic set that allows you to diagnose commutation instruments on the main parameters. All instruments of the "BASE" kit have clear and simple functionality, do not require special training of personnel and long-term setup at the facility for diagnostic.

PKV/M15 is a portable modern circuit breaker analyzer, that allows to control the time travel and speed parameters of oil, vacuum, SF6 and electromagnet HV circuit breakers with the voltage up to 220 kV.

MIKO-7M(A) provides resistance measurement in the range from 0.1 µΩ to 2 kΩ with test current up to 10 А.

The choice of MIKO-10 or MIKO-1 micro-ohmmeter is yours:

MIKO-1 allows you to measure the transient resistance with test current up to 50 А in the range from 1 µΩ to 0.02 Ω, and the MIKO-10 operates in the range from 1 µΩ to 0.1 Ω with test current up to 10 А.

22.jpgThe “OPTIMA” kit is represented by universal and high-precision instruments that can be used for a wider range of equipment - PKV/M7, MIKO-21 and MIKO-8M(A).

PKV/M7 provides diagnostic of high-voltage circuit breakers of various types (SF6, oil, electromagnetic and vacuum) and control of technical parameters up to 4 breaks. In combination with PUV-regulator, it will allow testing at low voltage with the determination of the value of the minimum operate voltage.

High-precision micro-ohmmeter MIKO-21 provides measurements of transient resistance with test current up to 200 А in the range from 0.1 µΩ to 2 Ω with high accuracy of +/- 0.05%.

MIKO-8M(A) allows performing resistance measurements on objects with high inductance with test current up to 10 A in the range from 1 µΩ to 10 kΩ, and also, to diagnose OLTC devices in DRM mode, which gives a more complete assessment of the state of the power transformer.

33.jpgThe “PROFI” kit combines instruments with a wide functionality (PKV/U3.0, MIKO-21, MIKO-9A, PKR-2M) and can be recommended for equipping electrotechnical laboratory that carry out work at various facilities from 6 kV to 1150 kV.

PKV/U3.0 has the technical ability to diagnose all types and voltage classes of circuit breakers of Russian and foreign production (air, oil, SF6 and vacuum), and with the completion of the instrument with measuring transducers, measurements can be carried out 3 times faster, providing control simultaneously in three phases.

To measure the resistance, the kit includes a MIKO-9A, which operates in the range from 1 µΩ to 30 kΩ with the test current up to 10A. The instrument provides automatic simultaneous monitoring in three phases, non-demountable diagnostic of OLTC devices, conducts "heat run test" and "demagnetization mode", which accumulates several instruments at once.

The specialized instrument PKR-2M, which has no analogues in many modes of operation, will help to monitor the technical condition of on-load tap changers (OLTC) of all types. The instrument is designed for generating oscillograms by demountable and non-demountable (DRM) methods, as well as for taking circular diagrams simultaneously in three phases.

All complete sets include a manipulating rod as an auxiliary instrument for fastening the clamps of test cables to the inputs of high-voltage equipment at facilities without the use of stairs and elevated platforms.

You have a choice, and it allows you to choose a solution for specific tasks!
