SKB EP patented the Manipulating Rod

Manipulating Rod is now officially patented by SKB EP, LLC according to the decision of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property dated 06 September 2019. The instrument is used to mount test cables' clamps on inputs of high-voltage equipment up to 220 kV on overhead electric power lines from the ground without the use of stairs or elevators.

Manipulating Rod improves the efficiency of high-voltage equipment diagnostics. The instrument is up to 5.1 m long, that’s why it is possible to connect test cables directly from the ground.
