MIKO-10 and MIKO-21 micro-ohmmeters in Indonesia

Recently, a demonstration of modern micro-ohmmeters MIKO-10 and MIKO-21 was held for an Indonesian energy company. Employees of this company has already been working with high precision micro-ohmmeter MIKO-21. Engineers evaluated its advantages before the pandemic, and then many economic and trading relations were suspended such as this one with Indonesia. Nowadays, everybody’s life is returning to its ordinary course and SKB EP gets cooperation with foreign companies back on track.

MIKO-21 is a modern micro-ohmmeter that is designed for high precision measurements of DC electrical resistance in the range from 0.1 µΩ to 2 Ω. It is ahead of similar devices represented on the market due to a number of functional and technical features. For example, MIKO-21 has a unique accuracy of ±0.05%.

Indonesian engineers appreciated an adjustable test current of MIKO-21 up to 200 A. They also noted that the device is very convenient and easy to use, and drew attention to its high accuracy.

Previously, these clients were interested in MIKO-21 only because of its technical parameters. Their main requirement was a minimum test current value of 200 A. However, SKB EP representatives in Indonesia held a demonstration of a compact micro-ohmmeter MIKO-10, and the clients have changed their minds.

MIKO-10 is a compact wrist-wearable micro-ohmmeter that allows rapid instant DC resistance measurements within the range 1 µΩ – 0.1 Ω. It is applied in electric networks, power plants or substations, traction substations of electrified transport, as well as in industrial enterprises where 10 A test current is sufficient for measurements.

The clients appreciated the advantages of MIKO-10, its light weight (0.5 kg) and small dimensions (165 x 100 x 60 mm).
