The PKR-2M instrument is used to check the technical condition of all types of on-load tap-changers, both resistor and reactor ones. The device allows you to check the status of the on-load tap-changer using both collapsible and CIP methods. For example, to diagnose on-load tap-changers with current-limiting resistors, it is not necessary to remove the contactor tank cap (DRM method).
The presence of a built-in battery increases its mobility and ease of use. Equipped with long probes and a cable with crocodile clamps, it makes it easy to connect to most on-load tap-changers.
