SKB EP devices’ presentation for employees of NIIEFA, JSC

Recently, NIIEFA, JSC specialists have visited the office of SKB EP in order to get acquainted with devices functionality and their technical features. They were interested in working with MIKO-group milli-ohmmeters as their work requires a device to measure DC resistance of conductors. SKB EP engineer demonstrated MIKO-7M(A), MIKO-8M(A) and MIKO-9A and told about their main characteristics. Moreover, the visitors were able to check the functionality of each device by themselves.

MIKO-7M(A) is designed to measure DC resistance in inductive and non-inductive circuits in the range of 1 µΩ - 2 kΩ with test current up to 10 A. The device is easy-to-use, user-friendly and affordable.

MIKO-8M(A) has a wider range of resistance measurement: from 1 µΩ to 2 kΩ. This device is also equipped with a non-demountable OLTC check mode (DRM test). This mode allows to assess the technical state of OLTC with current limiting resistors without removing the contactor tank cover.

MIKO-9A is the flagship among SKB EP milli-ohmmeters. It is designed for DC resistance measurement in inductive and non-inductive circuits in the range of 1 µΩ - 30 kΩ with test current up to 10 A. The device can be used for oscillography of the OLTC contactor with the help of DRM test, and also has demagnetization and “heat run test” modes.

NIIEFA, JSC employees noted the high quality of SKB EP milli-ohmmeters, their functionality, as well as the pleasant appearance of the devices.
