The small instrument MIKO-2,3 is convenient for measurements due to its light weight and dimensions, especially when working on circuit breakers U-110 and MKP-110. When placing the instrument directly on bushings of the circuit breaker, one person is involved in this process. Reliable wire fasteners are attached to circuit breaker bushings. High measurement accuracy, the use of two different power supply systems of the instrument (mains and battery) expand the use of the device.

PKV/M7 has shown itself as a reliable, affordable and fairly accurate instrument.

The use of PKV/M7 instrument halves the time for taking parameters of a circuit breaker, because all measurements are performed in one cycle, which allows you to quickly assess the equipment technical condition.

PKV/M7 instrument allows you to take a variety of parameters (speed, time) of circuit breakers and detect defects of equipment without disassembly, to plot graphs based on the parameters. These are the pluses of this instrument.

The instrument operation requires care and accuracy while making measurement methods at the early stage. The skills of systematization of measurements appear and the speed of testing increases after regular use.

The measurement method is simple and clear. A good function of the instrument is the ability to plot graphs of circuit breaker closing and generating data on a personal computer.

The following defects were identified when testing 6kV oil-blast circuit breakers: incorrect operation of a circuit breaker buffer, non-simultaneous closing of phases, wear of insulating rods.

Severstal, PJSC has been successfully using 2 PKV/M7 high-voltage circuit breaker analyzers in its professional activities since 2011 (the second instrument since 2018).

The advantages of the instrument are simplicity and convenience in operation, small weight and dimensions, the ability to carry out a complex switching cycle, save the template of a circuit breaker, as well as the ability to transfer data to Flash-memory.

During operation, the instruments has shown themselves to advantage, there were no problems and malfunctions.

SKB EP instruments are recommended for use by organizations operating high-voltage equipment.

With the help of this instrument we carried out measurements and diagnostic of vacuum circuit breakers (BB/TEL-10, SION ZAE5, EasyPact EXE, SIMENS ZANZ): SF6 type (VEB-UETM-110).

PKV/M7 instrument established itself from the best side. It is simple and convenient in operation, and has a high measurement accuracy at the same time. Its use allows you to significantly save time for electrical equipment diagnostic and improve the quality of repair and diagnostic.

The advantages of PKV/M7 are: reliability; simplicity and ease of use; small weight and dimensions of instruments; PKV/M7 design in a shatterproof housing, that is very important for constant transportation and operation in the field.

We inform you that the instrument PKV/M7 (prod. N2 53, 2012), milli-ohmmeter MIKO-8M (prod. N2 035J, 2018) manufactured by SKB EP, LLC (Specialized Design Bureau of Electrotechnical Instrumentation, LLC) are in operation at Kumerautskaya CHP, LLC.

With the PKV/M7 instrument, diagnostic and checking of electrical characteristics of high-voltage circuit breakers are carried out at the station, and the MIKO-8M milli-ohmmeter is used to measure DC resistances of windings and coils of electrical equipment, contact resistances of high-voltage circuit breakers and electrical equipment.

Owing to the fact that the instruments are realized on the basis of microprocessor technologies, it has become much more convenient and efficient to carry out measurements, the accuracy of measurement results and safety have increased, and archiving has become possible.
