Results of a tutorial organized by Elektronpribor, LLC

On December, 7, the XI Annual Tutorial & Exhibition of Elektronpribor, LLC, an official dealer of SKB-EP was held in Moscow. Technicians responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of electric equipment, cable lines, pipelines, as well as metrology specialists took part in the activity.

Representative of different equipment manufacturers including SKB specialist were delivering their equipment to the audience. SKB specialist delivered a report on MIKO-9 device, a four-channel milliohmmeter, a new version. We were pleased to evidence vivid interest of the audience towards the equipment presented.

In the hall where the tutorial was held, an exhibition was also organized where MIKO-9 milliohmmeter was presented. It is a new universal device characterized by high portability, and incorporating new functions. The instrument is designed for measuring the AC electric resistance in the inductance and inductance-free circuits in the range from 10 mkOhm ÷ 30 kOhm on currents of up to 10A. Furthermore, MIKO09 has a number of functions that make it different from its analogues:

• Simultaneous connection to three transformer phases and measurement with automatic switch-over;
• Availability of a special mode for resistance measurement across two windings simultaneously;
• Demagnetization mode of the transformer’s magnetic circuit;
• 'Cooling test' mode;
• DRM-test of OLTC devices;
• A number of other functions.

Note: The analyzer is under tests and pilot operation for being entered into the State Registrar of Measurement Instruments Its production is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018.

Attendees of the tutorial could get familiar with the interface of the device, ask questions, and clear out the details related to its practical use. Many attendees noted its bit advantage, namely high quality of equipment at affordable price, which distinguishes it from its foreign analogues.
