Business mission of SKB EP in Iran
In the middle of September, a representative of SKB EP took part in a business mission in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The business mission was organized with the support of the Russian Export Center (REC). More than 80 exporting companies, which were interested in entering the Iranian market, presented their products. Many developments from fields of electrical equipment, production of medicines, timber industry, agro-industrial complex and other industries were presented there.
Nowadays, Iranian-Russian relations are becoming stronger and lots of common projects are realized. However, some issues remain open such as logistics, financial transactions of foreign trade contracts, etc. The most important topics were discussed, more than 800 b2b meetings were held between Russian and Iranian companies within 3 days of the business mission.
Participation in this business mission allowed SKB EP company to establish communication channels with new potential customers, learn the diagnostic market of Iran, find potential dealers, gain information about the features and requirements for documents, accreditation and certification of products to enter the Iranian market.
"This form of communication with representatives from other countries is very important for us. For me personally, it was very nice to talk with colleagues from Iran, everyone was polite and considerate. I was amazed by the local culture and hospitality. The business mission opens up new opportunities, gives access to new contacts and, most importantly, here all participants are ready for open cooperation," the representative of SKB EP says.
The business mission became an excellent place for the initial acquaintance of Iranian companies with SKB EP instruments. Besides the fact that this kind of event allowed us to express ourselves and present a product in a new market, we could establish direct contacts, determine prospects and directions for further cooperation.
