SKB EP – the winner in a Digital Energy competition at the PGIF exhibition in Moscow

The senior management and specialists of SKB EP presented innovative instruments and new development services on one of the largest energy forums and exhibitions in Russia – PGIF-2022 in late November.

The opening began with an awarding ceremony, where SKB EP was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree in the nomination "The best ideas of digital solutions related to the development of energy digitalization and having the potential for implementation" for the project "Software and hardware complex of high-voltage circuit breakers online and offline diagnostic for detection of incipient defects using neural networks".

A technical exhibition, panel discussions and various conferences were carried out during PGIF. More than 180 companies took part in PGIF-2022 and presented their products of electric power industry. In addition to Russian manufacturers, representatives from China, Turkey, Serbia, Belarus and Kazakhstan participated in the exhibition. Much attention was paid to high-voltage equipment operation, advanced diagnostic methods, new developments, technologies for information collecting and processing. SKB EP demonstrated its professionalism in these areas and it was noticed by appreciation for the project by the contest committee.

Both well-known measuring instruments of  PKV, MIKO and PKR groups and also completely new products and services of individual development were presented on the company`s stand:

• products with a unique electrochemical coating that gives metal products unique properties;
• miniature current measuring shunts applicable to various fields (Note: at the exhibition many companies were interested in these products for their production needs);
• spare parts made of plastic/rubber, created using additive manufacturing;
• import substitution services and development of mechanical parts and electronic modules.

Besides new proposals, control and diagnostic instruments manufactured by SKB EP didn`t go unnoticed by guests of the stand.

The greatest interest was focused on instruments for monitoring parameters and technical condition of high-voltage circuit breakers:

• a modern flagship in PKV group – PKV/M7
• multipurpose PKV/U3.0 for control of all types of circuit breakers.

Visitors could estimate the operation of these instruments immediately in practice, while testing on a high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker VF-12.

The participation in PGIF made it possible to communicate informally with current clients and answer urgent questions, as well as begin cooperation with new companies.

SKB EP participates in the "Power Grids" International Forum not for a first time and it has been awarded another valuable certificate for fruitful work.
