Successful deliveries of MIKO-9A to Ecuador continue

In 2019, a state-owned energy company from Ecuador made the first purchase of a modern MIKO-9A milli-ohmmeter manufactured by SKB EP through an official partner.

The MIKO-9A four-channel milli-ohmmeter is designed measure DC resistance in the range from 1 µOhm ÷ 30 kOhm for the current of up to 10А, providing high accuracy corresponding to class 0.1.

In addition to the main purpose of measuring resistance under certain technical parameters, the MIKO-9A is chosen for its unique functionality:

• Special measurement modes that take into account the configurations of various objects;
• Simultaneous resistance measurement in three phases;
• "Heat Run Test" and "Demagnetization" mode;
• Non-demountable diagnostics mode of OLTC devices (DRM method);
• Autonomous operation;
• Archive and data transfer to the mobile application and/or to the web version of the PC software.

After almost 5 years, the customer made a request for the purchase of a similar equipment. Based on the positive experience of using the MIKO-9A and a high assessment of its functionality, the client chose SKB EP products again and purchased another 3 new MIKO-9A milli-ohmmeters. 

After the current delivery of the MIKO-9A, just like the previous one, the official partner of SKB EP in Ecuador held a presentation and training for the customer's employees (planned to operate the devices) on working with devices directly on the equipment. Such an after-sales service with a demonstration of the functionality and capabilities of the devices in practice is standard and compulsory for every customer and every delivery!
