A cement manufacturing company in South Korea had a need to diagnose OLTC of power transformers. After close monitoring of the market and offers of specialized equipment, they chose PKR-2M instrument.

Of course, at the initial stage, Korean specialists had some doubts due to the lack of experience in cooperation with Russian manufacturers of diagnostic equipment for power engineering sector, but thanks to individual video presentations, all issues were resolved, which served as the basis for concluding an agreement and successful supplying of the necessary equipment to the customer!

The specialists of the Korean company specified the competitive advantages of the PKR-2M instrument for complex diagnostics of OLTC devices:

• The ability to do the maintenance check of both resistor and reactor OLTC devices;
• Creating circular diagram and waveforms simultaneously in three phases;
• There are two modes – for demountable disassembly (direct) and non-demountable non-disassembly diagnostics using the DRM method;
• User friendly interface and touchscreen display, autonomous power supply and special PC software.
