SKB EP at Exhibitions in the UAE and Indonesia

In September 2026, SKB EP instruments were showcased at two international energy exhibitions: Middle East Energy in Dubai (September 1–3) and Electric & Power Indonesia 2026 (September 2–5). Both exhibits were organized by our international partners.

Middle East Energy, Dubai

Middle East Energy is held annually and is considered one of the key energy exhibitions in the Middle East.

The official dealer has presented SKB EP instruments at this exhibition not for the first time. Event visitors and the partner’s clients are already well acquainted with the Russian brand and were pleasantly surprised by the new products: the MIKO-12-25A and MIKO-12-50A winding resistance meters, the MIKO-22 micro-ohmmeter, and the PKV/M17M HV circuit breaker analyzer. These were the main focus of the presentation.

The greatest interest was drawn by the MIKO-12-25A winding resistance meter, a new SKB EP development for diagnostics of high and ultra-high power transformers. This three-phase instrument with a test current of up to 25 A measures resistance in the range of 1 μΩ – 50 kΩ and provides rapid magnetic circuit saturation thanks to an output power of up to 400 W and a voltage of up to 50 V. Measurement automation further reduces testing time.

Electric & Power Indonesia 2026

SKB EP instruments were presented at Electric & Power Indonesia for the first time. The participant’s catalog featured:

• high-precision micro-ohmmeters MIKO-21 (a new modification, MIKO-21M, is available) and MIKO-10 for measuring contact resistance;
• modern winding resistance meters MIKO-7M(A), MIKO-8M(A) and MIKO-9A for resistance measurements in inductive objects with additional diagnostic functionality;
• PKV/M15M HV circuit breaker analyzer;
• PKR-2M transformer OLTC diagnostic system.

The MIKO-21 and MIKO-10 micro-ohmmeters are rightfully considered SKB EP bestsellers on the Indonesian market. These instruments have previously been supplied to a state-owned company that is the country’s main electricity supplier. This experience confirms that SKB EP solutions meet the requirements of the region’s largest energy enterprises.

Participation in the exhibitions in the UAE and Indonesia helps SKB EP strengthen relationships with existing partners and introduce the global market to modern solutions for electrical equipment diagnostics.
