Micro-ohmmeter MIKO-21 surpassed its analogue

Interest in SKB EP instruments continues to grow among Thai power engineers.

Recently, the official dealer of SKB EP in Thailand held another practical presentation of the micro-ohmmeter MIKO-21 for a potential client. The event was organized for a company that is engaged in installation and maintenance of substations.

Before the demonstration, the company's specialists used an instrument from another manufacturer to check the contact resistance between the connectors of the grounding cable.

The dealer presented detailed characteristics and functionality of the MIKO-21 and demonstrated operation in various modes, which allowed the client to evaluate the capabilities of the instrument in real operation and chose it due to its features:

• The result of the resistance measurement is displayed in 5 characters;

• Low measurement error ± 0.05%;

• Test current range 1 to 200 A;

• Sufficient resistance range 0.1 µΩ ÷ 2 Ω;

• Mobility and autonomy due to the built-in battery;

• Compact dimensions (270x246x124 mm) and a weight of 3 kg versus 14 kg for the analogue instrument.
