Expanding exports: SKB EP’s first delivery to Saudi Arabia!

For almost a year, SKB EP's FEA team have been working step by step on a project to supply equipment to Saudi Arabia. During this time, details were worked out – from delivery terms and customer support to the logistics aspects, including transportation time and customs procedures.

A key step in this process was SKB EP’s participation in Middle East Energy 2025 in Dubai. There, a potential international partner had a chance to meet the SKB EP team in person and explore the company's products firsthand.

Particular interest was shown in the MIKO-21 micro-ohmmeter, designed to measure contact resistance at currents up to 200 A. The device is essential for promptly and reliably detecting irregularities in electrical connections. The distributor noted the instrument’s wide functionality, high accuracy, user-friendly interface, and compact design – which helped to persuade a customer quickly.

The first shipment included two MIKO-21 units. Careful planning ensured timely and secure delivery to the customer.

The distributor received the instruments and delivered them to the end user — one of Saudi Arabia’s top electrical equipment manufacturers. The devices are now in use at a production site, where they help monitor the quality of electrical joints.

This first shipment to Saudi Arabia confirms the competitiveness of SKB EP’s solutions in the Middle Eastern market and opens up new opportunities for the company’s export development in the region.
