SKB EP at INNOPROM in Saudi Arabia: a breakthrough into the Middle Eastern market
From 8 to 10 February 2026, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, hosted the INNOPROM international exhibition of industrial innovations. This event has become a key platform for presenting advanced technologies in the energy and industrial equipment sector. As part of this important event, SKB EP showcased its developments on the Arabian market for the first time at the official stand of the Russian Export Center (REC).
Participating in the exhibition was not just about presenting products; it was also a strategic step in expanding the company's international presence. SKB EP specialists held targeted business meetings with representatives of leading energy and engineering companies and distributors in Saudi Arabia. There was a lot of interest in Russian solutions!
The business mission added particular value to the event. As part of this initiative, SKB EP representatives were able to conduct field demonstrations at real manufacturing sites, where technologies face practical challenges, going beyond the formal exhibition.
The first destination was a factory that produces transformers and circuit breakers. Here, SKB EP specialists demonstrated how the PKV/M7, MIKO-21 and MIKO-9A devices operate in real-life testing conditions. The engineers noted the devices' user-friendly interface, easy setup and compact design, which make the diagnostic process effective and almost intuitive.
At the second facility, a manufacturer of switchgear and control gear (SCG), SKB EP equipment was demonstrated on a Schneider Electric circuit breaker. The PKV/M7 and MIKO-21 devices performed stably under high load and in complex electromagnetic environments. Specialists highlighted three key advantages:
-
Intuitive English interface with adaptive settings for different types of equipment;
-
Optimal dimensions — the devices are easy to transport;
-
Reliability in high-temperature and dusty conditions, which is especially important for the Arabian region.
Professionals were unanimous in their feedback: “These are not just devices — they are instruments created for people working in the field, not the laboratory.”
SKB EP doesn't just showcase technology; it demonstrates its readiness to work in the global energy sector, its ability to adapt to the requirements of different regions, and its capacity to provide practical solutions.
SKB EP continues strengthening its position as an innovative energy equipment player, combining Russian engineering tradition with modern user experience approaches. The next steps are to expand partner networks in the Middle East and prepare for new international exhibitions — see the Events section for more details.
