Report on participation in exhibition "Energetika & Elektrotechnika 2014"

XXI International Exhibition "Energetika & Elektrotechnika 2014" was held on June 17-20, 2014 in St. Petersburg. The stand of SKB EP was attended by more than 60 people. These were mainly power specialists involved in repair and maintenance of high-voltage equipment: ELMASH, LLC, LOESK, JSC, Lenenergo, JSC, Kingiseppelektromontazh, CJSC, IDGC of North-West, PJSC and many others.

The stand contained developments, which have already proved themselves in the measuring equipment market - instruments of series PKV, MIKO and PKR; also microohmmeter MIKO-21 - an automated and functional instrument was first demonstrated. MIKO-21 is designed to measure the transient contact resistance of high-voltage circuit breakers at DC up to 200A (carries out measurements at the rated currents up to 100A and 200A) from 0.1 µOhm to 2 Ohm, which makes it possible for it to be in the lower price range than micromillikiloohmmeter MIKO-2.3, which in addition to the fact that it includes 4 modes in one instrument (microohmmeter, milliohmmeter, kiloohmmeter and thermometer), in the mode of microohmmeter is designed to a range from 1 µOhm to 100 mOhm at a current of up to 1000A, which provides deeper diagnostics of high-voltage circuit breakers due to the burning of the contact film and subsequent measurement at rated currents.

The instrument for control of high-voltage circuit breakers PKV/M7 was noted for its modern functionality: all calculations are performed automatically and issued in the form of clear charts and tables. In addition, it is possible to save the results in the instrument archive for further analysis and reporting, as well as, if necessary, to transfer all the data to the computer.

Specialists noted feature of milliohmmeter MIKO-7 regarding standard and advanced software when it is possible to choose the desired functionality: limited or advanced.

As for milliohmmeters produced by SKB EP - MIKO-7 and MIKO-8, visitors of the stand noted rather important, in their opinion, advantage among similar instruments, the automatic recalculation of such parameters as:

• measured resistance reduced to a certified temperature;
• difference between measured and certified value of resistance;
• relative deviation of measured resistance of the windings from each other;
• conversion of linear resistance to phase one;
• winding temperature.

Participation in the exhibition "Energetika & Elektrotechnika 2014" made it possible to introduce the developments of SKB EP to specialists of the North-West and get recommendations, as well as expert knowledge from the power engineering specialists (feedback on instrument operation).
